American Fern Journal publication schedule: Quarterly (officially the end of March, June, September, and December, but often later).

Fiddlehead Forum publication schedule: Five times a year, on an irregular schedule at least two months apart.

Subscriptions accepted: For one full calendar year only, preferably prepaid (backstarts available within the year). Accepted from January through September for the current year and from October through December for the following year. For a previous year, see below.

Fulfillment claims: Please submit from 2 to 6 months after actual publication of the issue, to George Yatskievych, Missouri Botanical Garden, P.O. Box 299, St. Louis, MO 63166-0299, U.S.A. Materials sent surface mail; allow 6 weeks (U.S., Canada, and Mexico) or 3 months (elsewhere).

Cancellations: Accepted and balance refunded.

Libraries, herbaria, businesses, and other organizations may subscribe to the American Fern Journal. However, only individual persons may be members of the Society.

Individuals are encouraged to pay directly, rather than through an agent. However, members in some countries may find it convenient to pay through an agent. There are two classes of membership. Regular members, who receive only the Fiddlehead Forum, pay dues of $12.00 in the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico or $19.00 in all other countries. Journal members, who receive both the American Fern Journal and Fiddlehead Forum, pay dues of $25.00 in the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico or $32.00 in all other countries. Subscription agents may deduct a $2.00 agency fee from each membership.

Agents are encouraged to pay for renewal subscriptions at the beginning of the year. However, we recognize that this is not possible for all subscribers. Most agents renew their subscriptions automatically, but invoices for renewals will be sent on request or if subscriptions are not renewed automatically. Invoices for memberships and subscriptions are routinely sent in November.
